Panchakarma is Ayurveda's primary purification and detoxification treatment. During the course of time toxic substances gather in the body caused by stress, weak digestion, unhealthy food and insufficient sleep. Panchakarma removes these toxins by a specific diet, herbal infusions, oils and heat treatments. It is an intensive program with many special treatments like colonic cleansing. The cure starts with 3 steps to prepare the body, after that follow the five main methods of cleaning the body and the cure ends with aftercare treatments and rejuvenation therapy.

This small jewel of an estate you will find in the heart of the Balearic Islands, south of the romantic rural town of Montuiri and located in splendid isolation on a hilltop. The Ayurveda Finca Elefantorre offers fantastic views of the Mediterranean landscape. This is an idyllic place that has been established with great attention to detail. Traditional Mallorcan charm meets and merges with Asian flair and tropical vegetation.
Elefantorre Ayurveda Finca, opened as recently as May 2011. Here you will be looked after by a professional team from Sri Lanka and be pampered the authentic Ayurveda way. There awaits you a pleasant, oriental atmosphere with high ceilings made of teak wood, inviting candle light and the smell of fragrant essences. In order to unify the whole Ayurveda repertoire you will find original features and fittings from Sri Lanka, including the traditional Svedana steam bath.
At the heart of this refuge, are those who lovingly care for their guests and always focus on the individual’s own particular circumstances and needs. The exclusivity of the centre with as little as 10 rooms allows one to experience Ayurveda in all its richness – with ample space for body, mind and spirit. Far from the tourist scene, you can feel secure at this magical point while you relax and recharge your batteries. Anywhere on the estate you can find secluded spots under palms and lemon trees where you easily lose all sense of time.
Beside the swimming pool you can build up a tan on your sun lounger or just dream in the shade; many of the terraces offer space for yoga and meditation. Everywhere on this exceptional estate one bumps into the special symbolic animal under the tower: 1,001 elephants.
In the easy-going and light-filled restaurant you can experience the whole variety of Ayurveda dishes - always freshly prepared and graced with biologically active island products as well as products from the large herb garden.
