At the Termas Pallarés thermal health resort you can sense the history that surrounds it. The therapeutic properties of its thermal waters were first known over 2000 years ago. The history of its buildings dates from 1863. The rooms of the Spa have housed monarchs, politicians, artists, writers...Today its elegant architecture recalls all the glamour of the authentic 19th century Spa, where the fabulous vision of a sparkling past exists alongside the total comfort of our days.

Surrounded by 68,000 square metres of parks and gardens, Termas Pallarés has a hidden thermal lake, which is unique in Europe and whose waters flow constantly at 32ºC due to the multiple thermal springs on the bed. With an average depth of 1.50 m and two peaceful islands, it is the ideal place for swimming at any time of the year, whilst your body enjoys the virtues of its mineral-medicinal waters.

The Termas Hotel was built in 1863 and its rooms faithfully reflect the architectonic splendour of the 19th century, but they have been carefully remodelled and redecorated, in search for harmony between the style of the period and the comfort of our days. Every room is equipped with a complete bathroom, central heating, telephone, Satellite TV and room service. The Termas Pallares offers two different restaurants with healthy and varied cuisine.

The restaurant ´El Balneario´ is one of the most emblematic places in the resort due to its original architecture. Its gastronomical offer is balanced, creative and of high quality, with healthy and varied menus of both new and traditional cuisine. Taking care of the diet is the perfect combination for the authentic thermal therapy. The gastronomic restaurant ´La Gastroteca´ with modern architecture, its innovative and creative cuisine full of flavours is designed for the pleasure of the senses. The gastroteque has a wide and balanced card of wines and two types of deguatation menus.

The Termas Pallarés completes its facilities with a fitness center, 2 bar-cafes, summer terraces, social saloon, games saloon (billiard, ping-pong), reading room, tennis court, paddle court and a children area.

The mineral-medicinal waters of the Termas Pallares Spa were declared public utility in 1860. Their beneficial actions reside in their physical and chemical properties. Due to their chemical composition they are classified as waters of medium mineralization, magnesium-calcium-sulphate bicarbonate and slightly radioactive but at a minimum and healthy proportion. The varied chemical composition of the waters makes them beneficial for multiple indications. The Spa waters improve the regulation of the vascular system, the nervous and muscular systems, the metabolic hormonal functions and the respiratory functions. They also stimulate the organism's defence system. The Spa building houses two different Spa areas.

The first, the ¨Aquatherma¨, the thermal leisure centre, is a large space where you can submerge into the thermal water and enjoy all its properties, with all types of leisure and relaxation installations: hydro massage chairs and beds, templarium, caldarium, frigidarium, flexible hoses, rain mist, waterfalls, heated lounge beds and flotation tanks. Decorated entirely with marble mosaic and meticulously illuminated, the Aquatherma recalls the old Roman baths and it is, therefore, the perfect complement to the Spa's whole therapeutic offer.

The second Spa area is the Termaspa Thermal Circuit, a space of well-being where relaxation, vitality and health come together. Different elements are combined in a Thermal Circuit, in order to foster relaxation, to activate the circulatory system, to tone up the body and eliminate stress. A unique experience in modern facilities whose decoration recalls the old Roman thermal baths.
