Who we are and what we do!

A place and society cut off from the outside world by water, an island is always something special. There is a reason why people say they sometimes wish to escape to a desert island. Islands limit freedom of movement, but once you are there they also create a new sense of freedom, one which goes much further than the shorelines.....

The beautiful mountains, numerous bays, virgin beaches and the fine weather, the kindness of the people and the great accommodations and restaurants; all that and much more make the Balearic Islands, including Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera, a special destination where you can enjoy all the good things in life.

During the past few years Spa & Wellness facilities in the Balearic Islands have increased rapidly. Nowadays there is a huge selection of all kind of Spa & Wellness activities. From a massage on the beach to a whole Ayurveda wellness week, including all kinds of body treatments, special food and accommodation.

SIS is set up by us, 2 Dutch SISters. We moved to Mallorca in 2004 and 2008. After living for years in Amsterdam with demanding jobs and busy social lives, we decided we wanted to take more out of life and Mallorca seemed to be the perfect place for that!

When we were still living in Amsterdam the Spa always provided the perfect place for us to calm down, empty our heads, relax and recharge our body's. Once in Mallorca we were surprised by the high quality level of Spa & Wellness resorts and the unique setting of these resorts. We felt we had to do something with that, we could not keep this secret to ourselves. The combination of Spa & Wellness with the beauty of the Balearic Islands is of a unique kind, which we would like to share with everybody who is interested in Spa & Wellness.
