Especially in this time of the year we wanted to give a tribute to our beloved pumpkins combined with some typical autumn flavours, and we have found this wintry pumpkin smoothie recipe, which we would like to share with you. The taste of this smoothie reminds us of the typical American pumpkin pies, which are so delicious and rich!

This smoothie has a spectacular colour, taste and texture and is rich in vitamins and minerals, which makes it also perfect for kids, our kids have tried it and didn´t stop asking for more, because they loved it!!! In addition, it only has 148 calories per serving. 🙂


Cinnamon: Good for the digestive system (gases, difficult digestion, nausea, vomiting), respiratory (bronchitis, colds, cough), the circulatory system (improves circulation) and to regulate menstruation, among other benefits.

Pumpkin: pumpkin is a sweet vegetable with many healthy properties. It is an antioxidant, rich in vitamins, minerals and fibres and low in calories, and is recommended to prevent many diseases. It is containing 90% water and very few calories and carbohydrates. However, it is high in fibre!

Banana: This tropical fruit has an excellent combination of energy, minerals and vitamins that make it an essential food in any diet, including diabetes and weight loss. It is also a perfect supplement for people with high physical activity, such as children and athletes.

Dates: fruit that is as nutritious as energising and contains a variety of minerals (as iron and magnesium) and vitamins (mainly group B and A).

Clove: Clove has antibacterial, anaesthetic, aphrodisiac, analgesic, antispasmodic and stimulating properties.

Nutmeg: Protects the cardiovascular system, it has natural antibacterial properties.

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 1 cup of ice cubes (150 g)
  • 2 cups of oat milk (500 ml)
  • 1 cup of raw pumpkin cut in pieces (175 g)
  • 1 banana
  • 4 dates
  • 1 or 2 cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon of nutmeg
  • ⅛ teaspoon of ginger poder


  1. Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until it is creamy and smooth.
  2. It is best to take drink it straight away, so you benefit all nutrients, but if you cannot drink straight away, make sure you do not keep it longer than 48 hours.
