The Venue

Finca Sanau is a wonderful and very large finca (with approximately 430 sqm. living space) situated on a vast piece of private land (24000 sqm.) designed like a typical Mediterranean garden. It has a main house and just a short walk away on the same property sits a guest house (with 2 apartments).

There are a number of terraces around the main house offering plenty of opportunities to find a comfortable getaway for each of the guests. Through the main entrance you come straight into the main lounge salon which is divided into a dining- and a lounge section. The dining section offers plenty of space for large groups who after dinner may enjoy the fireplace or find a cosy spot on one of the many terraces. Right next to the dining section there is the well equipped kitchen set up in typical Mallorquin style.

The Rooms

All bedrooms in Finca Sanau are equipped to the same standard with single beds (0,90 x 2m) which can on request be joined together or left separately. On the ground floor there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The upper floor is exclusively for sleeping. There are four bedrooms which share two bathrooms with a bath tub. The interior design is simple but tasteful and of very high quality.

All rooms and common areas have WIFI connection, which is available for free. The house has central heating, which can be used in the winter months. Bed linen and towels are included and a washing machine is also free of charge at the guests disposal.

The Surrounding

Porreres is a small village in Mallorca located almost equidistant to the larger towns of Llucmajor, Campos and Felanitx. It is a picturesque quiet little village which is the perfect spot to fully recharge. This quiet and unspoilt haven is what Mallorca used to be like before mass tourism hit the island; the hustle and bustle of Palma however is only 30 km away.

The flat landscape around Porreres is also called Es Plá. From Palma airport it takes about 30 minutes to get to Finca Sanau.

The Facilities

Around the large swimming pool there is a very nice shaded terrace, an exterior kitchen and grill plus a long dining table. On the property there is also a separate big space which can be utilized for yoga sessions or other seminars. 

In addition there is a small outdoor Sauna with Jacuzzi, which can be used on request and with a supplement.

A large and well equipped kitchen is available for self-catering or catering service can be arranged. For further details regarding the catering options please contact us.

Green Policy

Finca Sanau House have for a long time been committed to their sustainability. Here is an idea of what they do:

• The venue has been built with double walls and cavity insulation which is rare in Mallorca
• All windows have double glazing to protect against the heat in summer and cold in winter
• All shutters are wooden as traditional methods improve air circulation and repel the summer heat much better than aluminium
• Use solar panels to heat all water
• Use LED lamps
• Separate waste and recycle wherever possible.
• Organic waste is given to the chickens 
• The lush mediteranean gardens have been designed sustainably to need minimal water. (Grass lawns require too much water in this climate)
• Use the natural well water as much as possible to reduce the need for plastic bottles
