It is a place of peace and sanctuary. Forty-four years ago, the whole area was known for its arid, hostile, rocky and vegetation less surroundings but the energy and wildness of the location captured the imagination of its founder, architect Denis Devaris, artist and therapist. He felt driven to create a shelter for like-minded people, where they could work and develop their ideas through workshops, seminars and activities. Now it is an ecological centre which has spaces for individual retreats or group activities, just 20 minutes’ walk from the coast.
Based on Rudolf Steiner’s Anthroposophical Philosophy and open to any likeminded movement, this Centre welcomes any visitor or group looking for peace, quiet and good weather. The environment itself is designed to therapeutically revitalize the exhausted and relax those that are stressed.
Beautiful and well-kept gardens, plenty of patios, lawns and corners where you can sit, relax, meditate, read a book or whatever you feel like doing.
