The Venue

The name Port Salvi means “Safe Port” and goes back to seafaring past as a protected bay and safehaven for shipwrecked fishermen and sailors. Nowadays it is a haven for those wanting to relax and get away from the busy schedules and want to enjoy the beautiful beach, marina and romantic rocky headlands that look down over the sparkling Mediterranean sea.

Port Salvi as a retreat venue is ideal for groups wanting to take advantage of the facilities of a larger hotel complex and enjoy the stunning views. There are beautiful walks direct from the hotel for those wanting to explore the local area on foot and the coastline is scattered with lovely, little coves. The nearby old town of Sant Feliu de Guixols is also very pretty for those looking for an evening off.

The Rooms

Within this hotel complex of 3 different hotels, there are 5 separate rooms available, ideally suited for retreat activities. The advantages of being part of a larger hotel complex is there are less restrictions on the number of rooms available and guests are able to enjoy the general hotel facilities such as the swimming pools, garden areas and simple spa. The hotel has been working with yoga and Qigong groups in particular for nearly 30 years and as a group venue this location works very well, all mats, cushions and blankets can be provided.

The retreat purpose rooms vary from 50m2 to 320m2 and can easily accommodate group sizes of 10 to 60 people.  Three of the five rooms boast stunning sea views.

Guests will be accommodated in the Eden Roc Hotel. Unless your group is looking for something simpler, more intimate or more economical where you could also stay in the Port Salvi Hotel or Garden Eden Hotel. All rooms are equipped with bath, WC, direct dial telephone, minifridge, safety box, air conditioning, Sat-TV; the standard rooms have a mountain view and the superior rooms have a balcony and sea views. Prices can be given based on single or double use of the rooms.

The Catering

Catering will be included in the price and is based on a Full board buffet style basis. The diet is based on the healthy Mediterranean cuisine and also includes a variety of vegetarian options. Unfortunately a vegan diet is not possible to cater for. A welcome cocktail with cold and warm Spanish Tapas is also included as standard. In the retreat rooms you will be provided with a selection of fresh fruits and mineral water on a daily basis.
