14 day Healthy Habits Retreat
This retreat has been designed as a long term package for those looking and needing to make some major changes in their lifestyle, with particular focus towards diet, stress and self-care both physical and emotional.
Many programs out there offer a week long program, a “quick fix” or a “kick start” and for some the positive results can be short lived. This program has been created for those looking for a more gradual change and learning with joy! It is so much easier to maintain healthy habits if you have learned to like them. A combination of juicing, learning about healthy diet, yoga and counselling.
This is not a medical or forceful program, you will be guided by a psychologist to investigate your relationship with food and inner health. You will be taught different techniques to achieve more balance on a mental and a physical level. If necessary you can work on past trauma and healing of long term patterns.
Included in the retreat you will have a daily 90 min yoga session with a lot of private guidance, previous yoga experience is not needed. In addition to the physical poses you will work with breath, meditation, visualisation and relaxation. You will leave the retreat with the sun salutation flow completely engrained in your system, and personalised exercises plus meditations to keep working with.
The diet will consist of light vegetarian meals, no sugar or dairy, with small amounts of carbohydrates, plant protein and egg. You will learn how to replace sugar, dairy, meat and fizzy drinks with homemade products and learn to combine your diet in a balanced way. The last days of your stay will be a juice detox. You will have lost weight already having followed a healthy diet with moderate portions and then you will be more prepared for the next step to shed old toxins and leave the retreat with a cleansed and calmed system. You will also be provided with lots of recommendations of how to slowly build your diet back up after the detox and get to grips with this new perspective and philosophy at home!
