I was happy to be well prepared by SIS. If I had some questions before my arrival, it was just a matter of an email and I received an answer in no time. Very pleasant!
Even though my friend previously had a “MasQi experience” and had shared quite a few enthusiastic stories with me, I was completely overwhelmed upon arrival.
The route from the airport took me through olive groves, sleepy villages and beautiful nature.
Finally I drove onto the MasQi estate and found myself in a silent world.
Everything was clearly indicated (parking, reception, etc.) and I received a very friendly and calm welcome. Despite my early arrival, the room was already prepared.
There was a welcome package from SIS on the bed, what a nice welcome. I still use the handy bottle!
I was given a tour of the grounds and the “hotel” itself, and was immediately invited for lunch.
Everyone was so friendly and everything was brought and served with so much "peace and serenity".
The food was delicious, everything macrobiotic, water on the table and nutritious artisan bread was also served.
Vincent (the waiter) showed me the 4(!!!) course lunch. It seemed way too much to me and I asked for half portions...well I only did that once!! Everything was so tasty and balanced, I just wanted…everything! :-)
Wellness is still an adventurous concept for me, but I believe this will become an annual thing for me. I enjoyed it from the first hour.
Upon arrival I received an overview schedule, everything clear and scheduled and I didn't have to think about anything anymore.
5 days were filled with yoga, meditation, massages and a facial. There are many other special options to book, I didn't even get to that.
In between I found time to write and read, on a bed in the garden.
A beautiful view and the garden was also very beautiful.
Every day I did my laps, the other guests were impressed by it, the water was ice and ice cold. Mwaahh... Dutch people can't be fooled! :-)
I feel 100% recharged and am already looking forward to my next visit.
MasQi is a 5 star stay, the fine linen on the bed, the decoration, the enthusiastic staff and the choices we as customers can make.
And if there is anything to complain about, the WiFi was weak and unstable. But to be completely honest, for me they could take it away completely.
In my opinion, they could ban the use of mobile phones in the restaurant, but other customers may find it very important to be reachable. (I thought that was a shame..)
My most beautiful memory of MasQi is being taken by the hand, learning to relax, all ¨knots¨ are literally and figuratively unraveled and also the fantastic healthy meals.
I already wrote it to my friend, MasQi: you never want to leave here...!

I really enjoyed this short break at MasQi. Everything was arranged perfectly. At Masqi you immediately get a very welcome feeling. Very quiet atmosphere and tastefully decorated.
The food is delicious and the staff is really personal and helpful.
Yoga good and the massages very good and nice that you can take walks directly from the hotel.
I also found your service and quick replies very good. I will get back to you again for my next wellness trip.

We all loved MasQi! The help beforehand with our bookings and transfers was great, Thank You. First impressions of the area were that it was beautiful, the bedrooms were lovely with good quality bed linen! The food was just amazing and the staff all so kind and helpful. The Yoga I felt we fell between the two offerings, Vinyasa was a little too fast and the Hatha a little too slow, but after a couple of days I felt we got into the sessions. The only criticism I might have, is that I do like it when the Yoga teacher walks around and adjusts a pose. Overall, though the holiday was amazing, the staff and the food was really excellent! It was also great to be able to walk out and go for a hike.

What a wonderful place to relax! It was the first time for me to book such a trip. What I was looking for and really needed: to be taken care off, a more holistic approach to the stress and burn-out I was in. And I found that at MasQi. Peace, serenity, beautiful surroundings but also beautiful accommodation, small scale, the softness and warmth of the entire staff. They are very good at approaching and treating you in a personal and professional manner. The room was very spacious, cozy and clean and perfect for a week's stay. The yoga classes are very good, nice and varied. Biodanza and meditation surprisingly good, energetical therapy (Reiki-like) and massages gave me so much relief and were of unprecedented quality!
I thought it was magical: I was able to surrender to everything MasQi had to offer; those who work there with such dedication have been able to make a huge contribution to my well-being. I came back so much lighter (by the way, with 1.5 kg more body weight) The kitchen is phenomenal! Very good, varied and healthy food but the portions (2x 4 courses afternoon + evening) are large!!! It was nice that fish was served once a week: the macrobiotic food surprised me positively, but after a week I really longed for fish/meat/dairy/eggs.
But maybe I would have liked more information in my room about the choices in terms of massages, treatments, the explanation and working method, a menu or fruit / juices that you can order in addition to water (and tea + kettle) in your room or in the waiting areas.

I certainly enjoyed my time at MasQi. It's been a long time since I was this rested.
Masqi is a particularly beautiful place. They work with a lot of love and attention. Everyone was very caring and personal. My best experience was Irena's moving meditation. I did it alone and that brought out a lot in me. I have nothing but praise for this place. Great food, clean, lovely people and a nice place to be. I will definitely come back again!
It was not exactly clear to me beforehand what the concept of Masqi was. I think that could be expressed a little better on the website. By that I mean that it is a hotel where you can do different yoga and meditation and therapies (I don't call this therapy myself, they are alternative medicine sessions, no idea what you call it :) but it is all open. You are not obliged to participate in everything and everyone makes different choices. That aspect of being free in your choices, could perhaps be better described. I personally found that very pleasant, but you should not expect that is a group retreat.

It was amazing! I have no frame of reference; it was the first time that I did such a yoga / wellness retreat and then also just by myself. But it just made sense. Beautiful location. Nice atmosphere. small scale. Good intake consultation. Attentive lovely service minded people. Nicely thought out and implemented concept. Delicious food, yoga, meditation classes and massages; nice spacious room (upgrade to Jr Suite was a good decision). And also the weather was beautiful, which helps!

Everything was perfectly organised. Our first impression was that it was very peaceful and isolated from noise, roads etc.
We liked the fact that everything was organised (although with a certain flexibility so that they don't become "obligations") and that there are facilities to borrow equipment if you don't have it or don't take it with you on the trip (mattress, blanket, etc.).
We didn't miss anything, everything was perfect. Maybe the menu was "excessive" considering the timetable (breakfast at 10.15, lunch at 14.00 and dinner at 20.00); lighter dishes would be preferable. The rooms, which are very nice, the sunsets and the peace of the area are our souvenirs.

SIS has organised my holiday very well. What first struck me when I arrived was the tranquillity and beauty of the place.
I really liked having the possibility to do yoga classes combined with therapies and treatments that help to relax and be in a natural environment. I didn't miss anything. I had - but this was only fun - not expected it to be so Spanish. Few staff members speak English, but you always manage.
The food, the surroundings, the relaxation and not having to do anything made my wellness break complete. I was really able to recharge.
The best thing was the view and the food. The kitchen is really at Michelin star level. Unbelievable!

I really enjoyed my stay at MasQi! It was certainly well prepared by SIS, very nice that you thought along about all practical questions! My first impression was that the area was beautiful, quiet, and special. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and clearly out to make everyone feel comfortable and as relaxed as possible. The massage immediately after arrival was just perfect!
The yoga sessions, delicious food and the special energy reading were top notch!

The service of SIS Wellness Holidays has been excellent, starting with the perfect recommendation to go to MasQi. The first impression, even before entering the house, was that I had made the right decision to spend a week here. The surroundings of the Sierra de Mariola are beautiful, the house is cozy in every corner and the people who welcome you make you feel at home from minute one. For me, yoga, meditation, peace and walks in that special environment are the perfect complement to a change in diet and habits cultivated during years of urgency and hasty digestion. Everything at The Energy House invites you to choose a healthier life. I did not miss anything. I find it a luxury to be in a place where there is no television. The most beautiful memory I have from my MasQI holiday is that on the third day of detoxification, the senses are clearly more open and one is much more awake. I remember the sun on my face in the morning with a new, rejuvenated color and warmth… Thank you!

The preparation of my holiday by SIS was perfect; they answered my emails and questions really fast. Unique experience in a great place! The program was very nice! Excellent accommodation, great food, friendly staff and a nice, varied program. However, on weekends there were not many people alone and many Spaniards who did not speak English. I had expected something more international, but nevertheless I enjoyed myself! It was a unique and incredibly enriching experience! It’s difficult to find words that are able to describe how nice it was. Sonia is a wonderful host and teacher with a great team. We had yoga classes, meditations and massages every day. I’ve had many good massages in my life, but these were outstanding! The house, the garden, the yoga dome and the view are simply breathtaking. Everything is nicely arranged, with a lot of style and love for details. The macro food is beautifully prepared and soooo delicious.
A massive thank you to the entire staff, including Lobo, the dog, the good soul of the house, who showed us the way when we went hiking in the stunning countryside surrounding the house. And a big thank you to you for suggesting the place and providing such a great service.
