Absolutely everything was just right!
Every arrival is always a bit exciting, does what you find match the image you formed in your mind? The hotel seemed a bit petty at first, and what struck me was that there were many stairs and no elevator. Soon all that was outweighed by the friendly people, the beautiful room, the beautiful view and the delicious food.
As far as we were concerned, this break was quite complete: the treatments, the guidance, the yoga, the service, the tailored diet, everything was right.
The only thing that was disappointing was that the wellness center of Galomar was further away than we thought, somehow we had the idea that both hotels had a shared park or something like that. However, we had to get there via a fairly steep street, which turned out to be a bit difficult given our conditions. In our opinion, this situation could be expressed more clearly in the information, but that's all.
The cure offered us exactly what we were looking for, working together on our health and in the meantime enjoying everything that presents itself on a wonderful island!

A week back and I will take a moment to give feedback. The holiday was super prepared, your guidance is always to the point, hearty. And thanks for the nice goodie bag in the room. I went to Madeira for 1 week beforehand, spent the whole week driving around in a rental car and took several brisk walks. What a beautiful island! Much was already in bloom and the tours are really spectacular. So I was all energised and in a sporty flow when I went to Alpino Atlantico. Alpino Atlantico looks nice and well-kept, the rooms are fine. Nice that they all have private balconies and views of the garden and sea. However, I found the atmosphere -- not my thing. There were mostly German and Swiss ladies who were very serious and also very much on their own. It felt like there was a lot of watching and judging and yoga was almost a competition. Of course, there were also a few nice ladies but I found the ratio here totally different from e.g. at Shanti som or at the spa above Valencia, those 2 were really much more sociable. Luckily I was together with my friend Miriam, I was very happy not to be there alone. The Galo hotel is a few minutes' walk away. There we did use the pool by the sea, and in the evening it was cosy with live music in the lounge bar.
In short, it was quite nice but I wouldn't go to this German colony again.... It wasn't down to you guys, you were top notch.

I am very grateful to have been here. I had a wonderful week to relax and switch off. The yoga class in the morning grounded you and I started the day very satisfied. The massages were also a dream, so much effort was put into creating a relaxing atmosphere. All the staff here are warm and friendly. I will definitely come again. Thank you so much!

My wish for staying at Hotel Atlantico was rest, yoga and something good for my body. For me, the first time booking an Ayurveda treatment. Now, after a week, I felt very restored because the morning yoga classes, which were excellently taught until everyone found the right, comfortable pose for themselves, then the lovingly prepared food (always a variety to choose from!) and the following coordinated massages were excellent. You get additional information on what Ayurveda means, how herbs are used correctly and what the basics can be for the body. You get a handout to read - great!
For the most part, I felt really warmly treated by everyone there. Moreover, there was the constant view of the sea and the accompanying sound of the sea - I could dive down in the truest sense of the word and fully concentrate on myself.
The staff were friendly and always willing to respond to requests. I also really liked the fact that some German was spoken, which is not obvious.
When I got home, I was still feeling the recovery and you could tell by looking at me a bit, because not only was I asked once what I had done, I looked so relaxed.
Conclusion: the hotel is run with a lot of love and I thank all the people working there for a great time ️.
Stairs are not a problem, by the way, as the suitcases are brought to your room - also fetched if you kindly ask.
I will definitely recommend this hotel!!!

First impression, beautiful surroundings!
The people are very friendly. I was content with the ayurveda treatments as well as the super yoga, was a fantastic man who gave the classes.
The food was ok but would have been better without corona but no one can be blamed for that of course... Panchakarma cure was successful!

A very pleasant, restful, healthy and even loving experience!
My stay at the Alpino Atlantico is over and I would like to let you know that I found it a fantastic place and stay! The whole team, the therapists and all staff are super friendly! It is wonderfully quiet and cozy, tasty cuisine ... very little to criticize!

It is a total quality place and experience! The place is great especially the unusual amazing therapists and staff. We had a wonderful time and I thought your customer service was excellent. The setting is lovely, food healthy and tasty - opportunitues to do other things though we wound up feeling that staying around and really relaxing was important. I did two levada walks , we went to Funchal one afternoon and rented a car and explored the island another day and used the pool at the bigger hotel. Thank you for the welcome gift! And I will recommend your services and the place to friends!

We liked the whole experience: the location and the views of the sea are very relaxing, the staff were very nice, helpful and flexible regarding some small changes we wanted to make to our program.
Everything was very clean and well maintained.

Fantastic, it is worth repeating! It was a great week in Madeira, a truly relaxing week. Quiet, clean en good food. It was a good division of treatments and time to relax. In the morning or afternoon there was always time for reading, a walk or something else.

This resort complex is owned by a German family, and yes the guests are predominantly German, Austrian, Swiss & Dutch. But we didn't see this as a negative, the German attention to detail is very much in evidence. The hotel is fastidiously clean, well maintained, and the attention to customer service is exemplorary. The spa has excellent facilities, the choice of treatments is extensive and the therapists are all fully qualified. The food is excellent, breakfast is excellent and is very varied. The staff are very friendly, English is widely spoken and nothing is too much trouble.

This resort is great for anyone hoping for a really chilled winter break, we arrived in the evening temperature was 19c after leaving minus 1c in Gatwick! Staff were really pleasant and so helpful, the room had stunning sea views and breakfast was above expectation.
We did feel a little out of place as it seems we were the only English there and it is nice to be able to talk to people, however we would still recommend this to anyone who would like a chilled holiday.
